Seltzer Receives Standard of Excellence... Again!
Seltzer Elementary once again received the Standard of Excellence award from the Kansas State Department of Education. For 2011, Seltzer was awarded two awards, one for 5th grade reading and another for 5th grade math. In order to receive this award, at least 25% of students had to score exemplary (the highest score bracket) on state assessments and no more than 5% of students could be on academic warning. This award is evidence of the dedication and professionalism our teachers show every day and the eagerness of our students to learn. Congratulations, Seltzer Spartans!

Battle of the Books 2012-2013
Want to get a head start on reading the 2012-2013 Battle of the Books competition? Or maybe you just want to get some ideas for great books? Either way, the Battle of the Books list for 2012-2013 can be downloaded HERE. 3rd-5th graders are eligible to compete in the Battle of the Books competition.
