Seltzer Receives Standard of Excellence... Again!
Seltzer Elementary once again received the Standard of Excellence award from the Kansas State Department of Education. For 2011, Seltzer was awarded two awards, one for 5th grade reading and another for 5th grade math. In order to receive this award, at least 25% of students had to score exemplary (the highest score bracket) on state assessments and no more than 5% of students could be on academic warning. This award is evidence of the dedication and professionalism our teachers show every day and the eagerness of our students to learn. Congratulations, Seltzer Spartans!

Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books 2011-2012
The Battle of the Books list for 2011-2012 can be downloaded HERE. 3rd-5th graders are eligible to compete in the Battle of the Books competition. Seltzer Recycling Update
Seltzer met their goal of recycling during the 2010-2011 school year by collecting 5.13 tons of paper!
